Maternity Photography Tips & Tricks

I'm experienced in maternity photography so please, let me give you some tips & tricks to make your photos perfect and the shoot as efficient as possible.

First of all, please arrive on time. Any delay caused by you will reduce our reserved time for your shoot. 

When is the best time to do Maternity Photos?

Of course you decide when you want to photograph your belly. But if I may give you some direction (based on my long experience): in general the best period is between the 32nd and 36th week of your pregnancy. If your're pregnant with twins I advise you to visit my studio between the 28th and 30th week. 

What about maternity dresses, props, gadgets?

Our studio has a very wide assortment of different beautiful maternity dresses (many different styles, colours, sizes, etc.), props, baby clothes, shoes,  umbrellas, jewellery, flowers and many more.  See our portfolio Maternity Photography.

Where can we do your Maternity shoot?

Everywhere. You decide where your pictures will be taken. Our studio offers the best facility because of the available dresses, props and gadgets, lighting and other equipment. But a shoot at home, in the outdoors or other location gives a special atmosphere. And I can take a lot of equipment and props with me. So your maternity pictures can be taken literally everywhere.

Which styles, themes can you choose from?

As you can see in our portfolio you can choose literally any style, theme, story which will accopmany your maternity shoot. From colourful, 'bling-bling' & sweet to minimalistic, basic, quiet, black & white. You decide about it. Or I can make suggestions to you. Or you combine various styles in one shoot.

What about make-up and hair styling?

Our make-up artist and our hairdresser will fully prepare you for your maternity photo shoot. See our proposition here.

Can my family members and friends join my shoot?

Yes. Check our packages to see how many persons are included. If there are more persons to be photographed you have to choose a more extensive package. See our prices & packages Maternity Photography here.

Can I choose my pictures (which will be edited and delivered)?

Yes. You are the only one choosing your stunning photos. Then our photographer will edit them.

How do I receive my photos?

They will be sent digitally to you via WeTransfer. Your pictures will be professionally edited in high resolution.  

What if my maternity shoot is outside and the weather gets worse?

Well, it seems to be a problem but it isn't. We have two options:

1. Reschedule your shoot

2. Your shoot takes place in our professional studio

We do not charge you extra for rescheduling.
